Pricing and Accommodations

$450 per person

Private, quiet camping by the creek. Please bring all your own equipment and be prepared for colder than the bay and/or wet conditions. Camping is the longest walk to the yoga space with a slight incline.

Creekhouse top floor

$475 for a twin bed or shared queen bed

The creekhouse is our fun shared housing and will have up to 8 people per room. There is a quiet and not-so-quiet room. The 2 rooms are directly above our socializing space accessed via 1 flight of stairs. There is car and van parking right by the creekhouse if needed.

$550 per person for 2 to share one yurt

$830 for 1 person to a yurt

Yurts are magical, romantic and have a heater! The yurts are just a slightly father walk and most have stairs.

We understand that the retreat fee is easily affordable for a few, a stretch for some and way out of reach for many members of our communities. This is why we offer a limited number of scholarships and depend on your donations if you have financial resources to share.

Please apply here for a work/trade scholarship for QTPOC (Queer and/or Trans People of Color) who would not have the funds to attend otherwise. Deadline is March 15. Please donate to our scholarship fund here.

We are committed to creating a sustainable retreat for years to come. We do our best to hire trans, genderqueer and non-binary folks and provide a living wage stipend to all of our contractors for their time, energy, love and expertise.

We donate a percentage of our fees to TGI Justice Project, a group of transgender, gender variant and intersex people inside and outside of prisons, jails and detention center- creating a united family in the struggle for survival and freedom.

This chart shows exactly where your retreat fee goes. Chart is based on the mid-range accommodation options- amount for accommodations may be slightly higher or lower depending on where you stay at Orr. As you can see, most of your fee goes to Orr Hot Springs, with food, organizers and yoga instruction being the other bulk of the fee.

Early bird special: Register before March 1 and save $100!

The retreat fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable. Please confirm that the dates will work for you before registering.

Retreat Schedule

This could be your Friday

Arrive at the beautiful Orr Hot Springs retreat and settle into a yurt, bunk or campsite. Notice the other sparkly queers appearing with their gay belongings amongst the trees and yurts.

Meet several trans & queer folks who are also craving a healing weekend filled with exceptional food, yoga, and the best natural hot springs in California. The country? The world?

Initiate yourself into the mineral pools before opening circle, dinner and the creation of our altar.

Yoga Class 1: Grounding Flow

After yoga, exchange stories in the Creekhouse yoga room, or slip back into the pools, sauna, or bed?

Your Saturday

Luckily there is coffee, tea, delicious quinoa porridge and fruit because yoga starts at 10am.

Yoga Class 2: Energizing Heart-Opening Flow

After yoga and lunch soak, hike, read, or daydream your afternoon away.

Yoga Class 3: Detoxifying Mellow Flow and Yin Yoga

Dinner starts at 6. By now you realize you aren't the only queer who's new to yoga, in fact there's one on either side of you, and they're both kinda cute.

Costume-encouraged Dinner. Gawd I haven't eaten this healthy in a very long time. Finally I get to wear this Mermaid-Tiger-Kinky-Astrology Costume.

Then! Our famous Project RunGay  Competition. Theme: yoga props. Followed by our cathartic dance party in the creekhouse. These queers are raging and sober. Or are we all just buzzing on Yoga and hot springs?

And Your Sunday...

Another happy morning awakening with the queers in the forest to enjoy a yummy breakfast before yoga.

Yoga Class 4: Strong and Steady Flow

Then check out of Orr. Pretty cool that I can soak till 2 or prolong the bliss and soak till 10pm for less than $20 bucks.

Note to self: Don't forget to exchange contacts with your new best friends before they leave!

And at some point... back to the real world. WHY!!??????
